About The Role

As a Business Analyst, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving transformation across the Trust. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external partners to analyse business processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and support the delivery of innovative, high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead workshops, interviews, and analysis to gather and document business requirements.
  • Map current and future business processes, identifying opportunities for optimisation.
  • Use data analysis, benchmarking, and root-cause analysis to inform service redesign.
  • Collaborate with IT and service delivery teams to propose practical, innovative solutions.
  • Support change management, impact assessments, and training initiatives.
  • Contribute to business cases, project documentation, and performance reporting.
  • Monitor KPIs and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented solutions.
  • Plan and manage business analysis activities across the full project lifecycle.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is analytical, collaborative, and passionate about making a difference. You’ll bring:

  • A relevant professional certification (e.g. BCS, APMG, Six Sigma, LEAN).
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst—ideally in social care or the public sector.
  • Strong skills in process mapping, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Proficiency in tools such as MS Office, Power BI, and Visio.
  • A creative, solutions-focused mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding, children’s services, or public sector practices (desirable).
