Business Support Manager
Salary: Grade SO1 / PO1, SCPs 23 – 30 - £34,434 - £40,777, Permanent, 37 hours per week, Based in Shipley / Keighley

About the Role
Business Support Services within Bradford Children and Families Trust work closely to support and enable our Executive and Senior leaders, Early Help, Social Work, Performance, Partners, Finance and Corporate Services teams and provide essential support in the effective day to day running of Children’s services.
We are keen to further invest in our workforce and are recruiting a Business Support Team Manager to continue to drive the day to day support that enables Children’s Services to operate efficiently and effectively. Previous management of business functions of service, including financial management, performance and administration is essential.

You’ll also:
- Drive the delivery of consistent standards and lead change.
- Have previous experience in a similar Business Support Manager role (although not necessarily Children’s Services).
- Have great customer and people management skills.
- Ensure that the service is efficient and effective to assist in the provision of flexible, proficient and robust administrative service within Children’s Social Care.
- Lead an efficient and effective service.
- To provide guidance and support ensuring that work priorities are delivered accurately and to strict deadlines.
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Experience of managing, leading and supervising a team of staff.
- Experience of driving change, developing and implementing new procedures and systems, manual or electronic.
- Experience in financial management.
- Experience in an administrative role.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills including research and management of information and data.
- Ability to develop excellent relationships.
- Excellent IT skills.
- Ability to work flexibly as part of a diverse team environment and ensuring continuity of service provision.
- Understanding of GDPR.
- NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration, or equivalent in a relevant subject,
