About us

Role - Business Support Team Manager – Executive Support to Chief Executive Officer

Business Support Services within Bradford Children and Families Trust work closely to support and enable our Executive and Senior leaders, Early Help, Social Work, Performance, Partners, Finance and Corporate Services teams and provide essential support in the effective day to day running of Children’s services.

We are keen to recruit a Business Manager to the Chief Executive Officer, this role will enable and provide her with a high level of administrative support. Previous experience is essential in order for the individual to operate with a high level of confidence and prioritise with limited interaction.

About You

You will be focussed and able to manage, have a customer service mind-set, effective communication, digital awareness and influencing skills will be vital, along with an assertive, proactive and forward thinking approach.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Provide full diary management with limited interaction, using knowledge and initiative to anticipate and resolve conflicts and to ensure business objectives and deadlines are met.
  • Electronic inbox management 
  • Manage a team of personal advisors
  • Regularly meet with stakeholders to discuss actions, priorities, expectations, and future planning
  • Acting on behalf of the CEO when dealing with customers and partners
  • Build strong relationships with key partners to leverage opportunities to work closer together
  • Coordinate and organise meetings, conferences, and large meetings both in person and virtually
  • Attend trust meetings and touch type in depth minutes, update action tracking and forward plan as required
  • Collaborate effectively with peer group and provide cover during periods of absence
  • Other adhoc duties as required

 Required skills and qualifications:

  • 5 years EA or PA experience required (Executive Assistant/Personal Assistant)
  • 2-3 years of management experience 
  • 5 GCSE's / O Levels or equivalent at grades A - C including Mathematics and English
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft office suite
  • Ability to minute / note take effectively.
  • ability to manage people effectively by conducting regular meetings, setting targets for performance, delegating tasks.
