About The Role
We are looking to recruit Casual Family Time Contact Supervisors to help manage our District Wide Family Time Team as we further expand our service.
We are especially interested in those who are open to working evening, weekends and school holidays.
Hours are flexible and can be accommodated alongside other roles you may have.
Key Responsibilities
As a Family Time Contact Supervisor, you will ensure that families are welcomed and supported when in the Supervised Contact Centre, in community settings and other appropriate venues as required and communicate effectively with managers and social worker who are involved within the child’s car
You will have an open-minded, flexible and caring approach towards children, parents and other family members who are attending supervised contact. Our aim is to provide a happy and positive experience for children, young people and their families. You will therefore ensure that children and young people are kept safe and that their emotional wellbeing is always prioritised.
You will provide opportunities to support parents and family members to maintain positive relationships with their children and help to make supervised contact sessions a positive experience for the children.
During sessions you will support interactions between children and their families, intervening when necessary to prevent conflict and document observations and incidents accurately and always ensuring that all sessions are child focused and we are hearing the voice of the child.
About you
- A relevant Level 3 professional qualification related to working with children, young people and families, and evidence of on-going CPD.
- Adequate recent experience of working directly with children, young people, and parents.
- You must be able to travel between venues and work evenings and weekends as required.
