Job Introduction
Casual Youth Workers and Casual Family Time Workers!
Bradford Children and Families Trust is recruiting individuals to join our District Youth Services – Breaking the Cycle and Early Help Family Time Service on a casual basis.
“Family Time Service”
Join our team in a rewarding role where you'll support and supervise family time sessions, primarily held at our local family hubs or dedicated family spaces. Family time provides a safe, carefully planned environment for children in care aged 0–18 to connect with their birth families. These sessions often bring together children, parents, and siblings, offering valuable opportunities for reconnecting and bonding.
“Breaking the Cycle”
District Youth Services is seeking energetic and dedicated Youth Work practitioners to support young people across Bradford District, specifically those experiencing criminal exploitation. We are looking for resilient self-starters who are creative, proactive, and able to work independently.
These roles involve working as part of a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team across a range of services at times out of hours alongside colleagues from Education, the Youth Justice Service, West Yorkshire Police, Children’s Social Care, healthcare practitioners, and other partners within the Exploitation Hub, Community Safety, and Bradford Safeguarding Partnership.
The ideal candidates will be confident in handling challenging conversations and committed to fostering positive changes in young people’s behaviours and attitudes.
If you are passionate about making a difference and possess the resilience and initiative required for this critical work, we encourage you to apply.
We are hosting an information session to potential candidates which will give further insight into the different roles we are looking to recruit to. This is due to take place Thursday 14th August at 5pm at The Highcroft Youth Centre, Snowden Road, BD18 1JD.
