About The Role
12 Month Fixed Term Contract or 12 Month Secondment Opportunity for Internal Staff Members
As the Children's System Lead for the Liquid Logic Children's System (ContrOCC) at the Bradford Children and Families Trust, you will play a pivotal role in the operational management and technical development of the system and ContrOCC Portal. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and coordinate the Systems Support Service, ensuring high standards of performance and delivering technical solutions that support all aspects of social work. You will be at the forefront of implementing support and training across the ContrOCC system and ContrOCC Portal, contributing to the continuous improvement of services for children and families in Bradford.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Management: Lead the operational management and technical development of the ContrOCC System and ContrOCC Portal.
- Leadership and Coordination: Provide effective leadership, coordination, and management of the Systems Support Service, setting operational standards and performance objectives.
- Project Implementation: Lead and coordinate the successful delivery of support and training across the ContrOCC Portal.
- System Support: Develop and support a network of system support teams and super users, ensuring key stakeholders are fully supported.
- Problem Solving: Investigate, record, and solve problems methodically, proactively identifying activities that benefit the service and its users.
- Quality Management: Manage and develop the system support team, influencing positive changes and ensuring quality practice.
- Regulatory Compliance: Support preparations for regulatory inspections, ensuring IT systems, data, and reporting requirements are met.
- Technical Implementation: Work closely with IT Services on system testing, upgrades, and future developments.
- Training Development: Develop and deliver a comprehensive training programme for all levels of system users.
- Reporting: Produce meaningful reports and performance management information to support and challenge practice.
About You
We are looking for a candidate who brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the role. You should have:
- Fluency in English: Ability to express yourself fluently and spontaneously, especially in sensitive interactions with the public.
- Innovative Learning Materials: Demonstrable knowledge of developing innovative materials and activities that maximise learning outcomes.
- Training and Development: Experience in developing, coordinating, and delivering training programmes tailored to different learning styles.
- Data Interpretation: Ability to interpret data and produce meaningful reports to support management decisions.
- Social Work Practice: Understanding of social work practice and experience in using IT systems, particularly ContrOCC.
- Leadership Experience: Proven experience in leading improvements to enhance outcomes for children, delivering training, and supporting a super user network.
- Quality Assurance: Experience in holding quality assurance workshops and supporting regulatory inspections.
- Professional Qualifications: A Level 4 or above Management or Practice Qualification.
