We are now seeking a Deputy Hub Manager to help deliver an accessible, inclusive and high‑quality Family Hub offer across the locality.
The Role
As a Deputy Family Hub Manager, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering effective Early Help support. Working closely with the Family Hub Team Manager, you will:
- Provide day‑to‑day operational oversight and practice leadership for Early Help staff, students and volunteers.
- Ensure children and families receive timely, coordinated and outcome‑focused support.
- Build strong relationships with partners, community groups and families to ensure the Family Hub offer is accessible, culturally competent and reflective of local need.
- Oversee the quality and timeliness of Early Help assessments, plans and reviews.
- Promote safe practice, identify safeguarding concerns and ensure appropriate escalation.
- Support performance monitoring, service development and continuous improvement.
- Deputise for the Family Hub Team Manager when required.

About You
We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:
Education & Qualifications
- NVQ 4 (pre‑2011) or Level 5 Diploma in Health & Social Care / Children & Young People, or an equivalent relevant qualification (e.g. degree, DipSW, RGN, Teaching, Youth & Community).
- GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent).
Experience
- Significant recent experience working with vulnerable children, young people and families.
- Experience supervising staff, students or volunteers.
- Experience of community engagement and partnership working.
- Ability to communicate fluently and confidently with members of the public.
