About The Role 

We are looking for an exceptional data analyst to lead the transformation of our reporting, business intelligence, data architecture and project management ensuring high-quality outputs across the Service. 

You will lead the charge in revolutionising our data strategy driving transformation through a cutting-edge single view data warehouse that empowers smarter decisions and seamless integration across the business. 

This will support effective delivery and coordination of our flagship Families First Reform Programme - A high-impact, high-profile transformation initiative that will shape the future of family support and children’s social care in Bradford and across the country.

Key Responsibilities

As the Head of Service, you will:

  • Lead our Data and Analytics Service to enable robust performance reporting, business intelligence, and data analysis to ensure high-quality outputs across the team.
  • Lead the development, extraction, and integration of complex data from multiple systems using tools such as SQL, Visual Studio, Power BI, and Excel.
  • Lead the development and strategic planning and delivery of the organisation’s portfolio of projects and programs, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and priorities.
  • Inspire and manage a high-performing team, overseeing programme governance, workforce planning, and supporting budget control.
  • Enable innovation and transformation across multi-agency workstreams, ensuring that you support multi agency services to be integrated, sustainable, and future-ready.
  • Through effective management skills, help to create the conditions for transformation. Collaboration with senior leaders, government departments, and community partners to ensure stakeholder buy-in and long-term success is a key element of the role.
  • Monitor performance, manage risk, and adapt to policy changes with agility and confidence. 

About You

  • A proven track record of leading innovatively in data and project management
  • Knowledge of DfE frameworks, Ofsted and HMIP data requirements, inspection readiness, and regulatory compliance.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to deliver under pressure and within budget.
  • Data and Analytics: Certifications in SQL, Power BI, or other analytics tools (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate, or equivalent).
  • A relevant Leadership and Management qualification i.e. Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM), City & Guilds Leadership and Management Qualifications
  • Program Management qualifications, such as MSP (Managing Successful Programs), or PMP (Project Management Professional) or extensive demonstrable experience.
