About the Role
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in transforming how we deliver services. You’ll lead a team of analysts, collaborate with stakeholders, and drive improvements that align with our Business Plan. Your work will directly impact the lives of children and families in Bradford.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor Business Analysts, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Develop and implement business analysis frameworks and tools.
- Conduct workshops, interviews, and data analysis to identify service improvements.
- Map and optimise business processes using best practices.
- Support change management and project delivery across the organisation.
- Produce clear, insightful reports and business cases.
- Collaborate with IT and service teams to deliver innovative solutions.
About You
We’re looking for someone with:
- Proven experience in business analysis, ideally in social care or the public sector.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
- A relevant professional certification (e.g., Six Sigma, LEAN, Business Process Modelling).
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proficiency in tools like MS Office, Power BI, and Visio.
- A passion for continuous improvement and making a difference in children’s services.

To succeed in the role, you will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, ideally in social care or the public sector.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide Business Analysts.
- Skilled in business process mapping, data analysis, and benefits profiling.
- Proficient in tools such as MS Office, Power BI, and Visio.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong ability to use Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
- Able to manage change, assess impact, and support implementation.
- Holds a relevant certification (e.g. BCS, APMG, LEAN Practitioner).
- Knowledge of safeguarding and children’s services (desirable).
