Team Manager (Children & Families)
Salary: PO6, SCP 40-43, £51,356 - £54,495 per annum + £3000 retention payment, Permanent, 37 hours per week and 18.5 hours per week (Wed PM, Thursday and Friday), Based in Keighley Town Hall.

We are looking for two Team Managers (1 full-time and 1 part-time) within the Children & Families service that covers the Keighley and Shipley areas of the district.

You’ll also;
- Manage a team of Social Workers of differing levels, a Practice Supervisor and a Community Resource Worker with reflective case and personal supervision.
- Lead your team through audit activity, reflective group supervision and quality assurance activity.
- Undertake audit activity and disseminate learning identified.
- Implement, monitor and support progression and change within your team, offering a supportive and nurturing leadership style.
- Undertake practice development projects with those who use our services, colleagues, and stakeholders.
- Work to achieve permanency and outstanding outcomes for children and young people through relationship-based practice.
- Chair multi-agency meetings and making decisions linked to a thorough understanding of safeguarding thresholds.
To be successful in this role you will need;
- Hold a DIPSW or equivalent qualification and are registered with Social Work England as a qualified Social Worker.
- Substantial experience managing the delivery of quality outcomes for children and young people.
- Passionate about the development of others.
- Experience of working with all service user groups and with service users from minority ethnic groups.
- Experience of interpreting and applying the law relating to children and / or to adult services.
- Experience of child protection, childcare work and issues arising.
- Experience of tackling the most complex needs with enthusiasm, drive, and determination.
