East Children and Families Service 

As a service we pride ourselves on being kind, friendly, and supportive.  You will support social workers with manageable caseloads and receive support from experienced leaders at all levels. 

About the role 

We are looking for a permanent, full time team manager/s to join our East children and families service.  You will lead a team of 7 qualified social workers and alternatively qualified workers supported by a practice supervisor.  You will confidently provide advice and support, supervision, audit and quality assurance of assessment, care planning, and review to ensure intervention has a positive impact on our children and their families.  You will ensure high performance of the team and intervention that is timely and effective, and support is provided at the right threshold at the right time.

About you

As an experienced or aspiring manager you will identify with Bradford Children and Families values and practice approach; displaying confidence in your ability to manage risk, lead by example, be solution focused and resilient. You will have insight into trauma informed, relational, restorative practice.  You will display excellent relationship building and communication skills, an ability to develop others, a commitment to continued professional development, and in-depth knowledge of key legislation, guidance, regulations, and frameworks.
